Full privacy policy for IntuBlade Training

Effective date: August 25, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies only to the IntuBlade Training Android application with package name com.intublade.training. It does not apply to the clinical IntuBlade app, the IntuBlade website, or the IntuBlade cloud service. Those products are covered by the main IntuBlade privacy policy.

IntuBlade Training is for manikin and simulator practice only. It is not for diagnosis, treatment, patient care, clinical documentation, or clinical decision-making.

2. No data collected by IntuBlade

The training app does not create an IntuBlade account, connect to an IntuBlade server, upload files, run analytics, display advertising, send crash reports, use remote configuration, or receive push notifications. IntuBlade does not receive personal data, media, practice details, device identifiers, or usage information from the training app.

3. Data stored on the device

The app stores training photos, videos, thumbnails, practice details, and app settings on the Android device. Depending on the storage location you choose, other apps with storage access may also be able to see exported media.

Do not record a live patient or enter a patient's name, incident number, medical record number, vital signs, or other patient information. The app locks every recording to Training/Manikin and does not provide patient vital-sign fields.

4. Permissions

The app requests access to the camera, microphone, compatible USB camera hardware, local storage, and foreground media processing. It uses these permissions to show the training camera feed, capture photos and videos with audio, process that media, and save it on the device.

The training package does not request Android's Internet permission.

5. Sharing and third-party apps

You may choose Android's share action to send a local training file to another app or person. IntuBlade does not select the recipient or receive a copy. Once you share a file, the receiving app or service handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.

6. Google Play

Google may process information when you find, install, purchase, or update an app through Google Play. Google controls that processing. Review Google's privacy policy and Google Play terms for details.

7. Retention and deletion

Training data remains on the device until you delete individual files, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. IntuBlade cannot retrieve or restore it because the app does not upload it.

8. Security

Device security, backups, screen locks, storage encryption, and access granted to other apps affect locally stored training data. Keep the Android device updated and use a device passcode. Export only the files you intend to share.

9. Children and students

The app is an instructional tool for supervised airway-training programs, not a consumer app directed to children. IntuBlade does not knowingly collect data from children through the training app because the app sends no data to IntuBlade. Schools and instructors are responsible for supervision, device access, and any files they choose to keep or share.

10. Policy changes

We may update this policy when the training app changes. We will post the new effective date on this page. If a future release begins sending data to IntuBlade, we will update the policy and the Google Play Data safety form before releasing that change.
